The Maroons' victory over Old Boys kept them in second despite a loss to third place Mako's earlier in the weekend.
To update the final table situation as it stands, if Old Boys and Maroons are level then Maroons would get the higher placing based on a 9-7 aggregate. If the Maroons and Makos finish level the Mako's have a 4-2 aggregate score and would take the higher place.
Meanwhile, Uni drew 1-1 with Balgownie in the major surprise of the round, to move off the foot of the table.
Russell Vale continued their rise with victory over IFS while the Sh*t Hogs were held 0-0 at home by the resurgent Figtree. Shell City beat Fernhill and still have two games in hand of the top three. The Maroons v Old Boys game was the only round 11 make up played Sunday with the two other matches scheduled for the next two Wednesdays.
