Rego update and draft draw

The IAFA has now finalised rego procedures. All players, not just newcomers as thought, will have paperwork to fill out, being a registration form and an insurance form. All players will need their photos taken. I will do this at Sunday's get together but others who have not had their photos taken by the end of our registration on Feb 14 need to email me a head and shoulders photo of themselves please. This year cards will be issued for each team.
The draw
Both teams kick off at home on March 28 against tough opposition.
The Maroons will face IFS while the newbies in the Whites come up against the Sweat Hogs of Helensburgh.
In other higliughts, our teams have their first local derby in round nine and the second one to finish the season in round 22.

  1. Forward to Monday before the semi finals - Daily Telegraph Sports liftout front page

"TAB Sportsbet have announced they will close the season's betting on all IAFA Masters 2 games due to an irregularity in round 22 - they are questioning how it can be that goalie Peter Heathcote, who has held a clean sheet all season, let in 22 goals in the last game of the season against Coledale whites which saw the Whites get the all important double chance in the finals."

Hmmmm the options for round 22!

    But we wouldn't think like that would we TH10 . . .

  2. Remember all we'll have some beers after Sunday's get together (Dave whinging about it being a little hot is fined $2, emailing to all us also a fine of $2 so we're up and running with the fines) Hey if it gets too hot bring something to jump in the surf with to cool down. We'll head up to the lawn of my house to have some beers and do the paperwork per TH10's message above. I'll grab 4 carton's to get the ball rolling, remember your coins as $3 a pop - seeya Sunday
